The other day I bumped into an old friend, and I mean old. This sucker’s hair that hadn’t turned loose, had turned gray. He had puffy eyes, and his forehead was wrinkled. I couldn’t believe that he looked so old.
That’s the last time I look in a mirror.

LMAO - Once again you have managed to make me laugh out loud. And not just a chuckle. No, it was one of those good old belly laughs that would make even Santa Clause proud.
Ditto what darksculptures said. Nice way to start my day, along with a cup of Constant Comment tea. Uh-oh, Constant Comment and words. There's a story in there somewhere.
I hear you loud and clear. I have a magnifying mirror suctioned to the regular mirror in the bathroom. I bought it to help make sure I get my makeup on properly. Just this morning, looking at the lines and creases in the skin on my face was deeply discouraging, verging on terrifying.
If I never see that old friend of mine again, it'll be too soon.
You know, Walk. When we're born and without wisdom and experience, our skin is supple and sleek. The marks of the years behind us show in our hair color, puffiness around our eyes and wrinkles, crinkles and creases on our skin. We must strive to be proud of our appearances, to cherish the fine specimens we've evolved into.
What a crock of shit, straight from Shaddy!
Realistically, all we can do is avoid mirrors and yearn for the day our eyesight is so bad, we can't see the mirror, let alone what's reflected in it!
"Egads" is cute as the dickens, another joy from the pen of Walk.
My first visit here and you make me dribble tea down my shirt from laughing out loud. Very funny!
Thanks all, I'm glad I could make ya smile. Natasha, glad you dropped by, don't be a stranger.
